It's a whole new year!! O_O
And it's my second ever LiveJournal post XD
I'm going to try and make it more active this year, that's going to be one of my New Years Resolutions - post in my LJ!!! ^_^
Not much has really happened to me since July, well a lot has happened but mostly I've just bobbed along same as always.
My BJD Yuki turned up on the 11th of September which was fabulous and I love him to pieces - so much so I've got three friends for him on their way!! ^_^; I kind of went a bit mental over the Xmas season, so NO MORE for me. For a year at least.
I'm saving up to go to Japan in 2009, and my Onii-chan (I have adopted him as my big brother) has said when HE goes I can babysit his two resin girls for him, so I'm really looking forward to that!!
Hm. I went to two more Expos - one in September and one in October. Both times it was really just an excuse to see my friends. In September my best friend Steve-chan (lexicon_captain here I believe) came to visit for Expo, along with my other close friend Neko-chan and her boyfriend Wingy (who's an utter dude ^_^) and we took Yuki and met up with Donna and Rei (her BJD) and bummed around Telford Expo for a while which was actually LOADS of fun. We took many many photo's of Yuki and Rei with random cosplayers - and I got one of Yuki with the German guy from Allo' Allo'! It was amazing, he was so scary though! ^_^
After everyone went home, not much happened for a while, then I went to October Expo ^_^ Yet another chance to see Steve-chan and everyone else! ^_^ I got to see Onii-chan too, and meet a bunch of awesome new people! We had a great weekend, and I got away with spending very little ^_^ I stayed with my OTHER best friend Mao, and she introduced me to Onigiri and taught me how to make spring rolls - not to mention the penis cookies!! We had such a laughi giving the ass and penis shaped cookies to the lads, but they gobbled them down like nobody's business so they must have been gagging for it!!! Lmao XD

At the end of October, I scraped my pennies together and paid for Yuki's first new buddy through a group order - although he'll probably come in last now!! He's a Fantasy Doll Glen named Grail, but I call him Rai ^_^ Eventually, he'll have a Fantasy Doll Kemi named Chalice (nicknamed Hali) as a sister, but that's a while off yet!
I also got promoted (well, self-promoted) to Captain of the Onyx Crusaders in Anglo-Revolution on AL, something I had been dreading and putting off but after the head admin (aforementioned Free) insisted I was doing all the work and therefore we should call a spade a spade I finally gave in and promoted myself and Neko-chan. I'm quite pleased with how it worked out actually! We have a great time and we work really well as a team - not to mention she's VERY proactive so I don't need to poke her about things that need doing ^_^
Sadly, during this time Steve-chan's laptop, old faithful Reika bit the dust. So he's rarely around anymore T_T I still talk to him frequently on the phone though and he's coming to see me on the 27th!! ^_________^ But I miss always having him to talk to online, he keeps me grounded when I'm about to float off into insanity ^_^; But at least I know I can call him ^_^
I think November was uneventful other than this, apart from the 30th! When I FINALLY managed to order Yuki's cousin Paige. As the first girl mold I ever fell in love with, I think this is a great thing - I desperately wanted a girly girl to dress in all the gorgeous outfits (girls get soooo much better clothes than boys...) and the Angell Studio Vera fits the bill perfectly.
Oh, and I moved back in with my parents ¬_¬ BIG mistake. Now, I know Xmas is a stressful time for our family, and I appreciate that. But ARGH I just shouldn't even get STARTED on what they do to me. In the time I've been back (a little over a month) they've kicked me out of my bedroom so other people can sleep in it and made me sleep on the sofa (when I'm the only one who has to get up the next morning for work), they've gone through my stuff on more than one occasion, without my permission and without even TELLING me. They have absolutely no respect for my personal privacy. I wouldn't go through THEIR stuff. I have no interest in their things. I don't rummage around in their folders on the computer neither, not that I've got anything worth hiding (except some random Yaoi) but that's not the point. They seem determined to poke their noses in to my entire life *sigh*.
One of the stipulations of me moving back (I really didn't want to, they convinced me it'd be good) was that I felt like I was free. I specifically was concerned about them going through my things, mostly because I have potentially embarressing or Yaoiful things lying around. I miss the days when I could toss my Yaoi manga on my bed or the sofa and leave it there all day without feeling obliged to move it *sigh* Now I know I don't pay rent yet (we've been to busy to work it out) and I don't have to pay any bills or for any of the food, but I didn't realise this meant a removal of all my social and private liberties. For example, my parents complaining because they have to get up and take me to work in the morning, just because THEY get four weeks off over Xmas. Well excUUUse me for having a crappy job which I HAVE TO GO TO over Xmas. If THEY had let me stay where I was, I could have blooming WALKED. *sigh* Oh the injustices of my family.
So, my first (and probably only) retaliation to this gross invasion of privacy will be to fit a lock on not only the outside of the door so they can't get in when I'm not there, but also on the inside so I can lock myself in if necessary. I'm thinking Yale lock. Nice and sturdy. Might just replace the whole damn door ¬_¬ After the nuclear fallout from THAT, they'll probably solve all my problems by kicking me out - my family HATE being locked out of anywhere XD My parents don't want me to go through their stuff, but they don't want to give me the same respect. So they can break the damn door down XD Serves them right for using my room like a guest house lol :3
Mrawr, then we come to December. Another uneventful(ish) month! During this month a LOT of my friends bought their BJD's - people who desperately wanted them but hadn't even be able to get them and deserve them so much more than I do ^_^; So naturally, I am OVER THE MOON - lots of pretty resin friends!! ^___^
And, perhaps most importantly of all, Steve-chan finally ordered his Miko - a DZ Mowan. This is particularly crucial because Miko is (or rather will be, when Yuki gets his paws on him) Yuki's beloved boyfriend. Naturally, Steve-chan and I are delighted and I can't wait to meet him finally ^_^

I have to say, he sums up our relationship succinctly, something I am incapable of doing but *looks up at Steve-chan* you know I feel the same way sweetness ^_^ My eloquence with words only stretches so far, but never in my life have I ever felt this kind of unconditional love and friendship and companionship that I get with Steve. From just a random meeting online when we started talking about something for no reason at all and to be brutally honest at the time I was a little distracted, through more and more conversations we've become the closest of friends and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have him. The most terrifying thing happened in July when Steve went from Aberdeen, to London, to Cardiff - I couldn't contact him. Now, since I'd provided the bus ticket to get to London, I was almost in hysterics with panic and worry that he'd been lost, killed, mugged or the bus had crashed or he'd been kidnapped or any manner of other horrific things. I was *presses thumb and forefinger almost together* this close to hopping on a bus or train to London or Cardiff until I came to my senses and e-mailed Sophie-chan, who let me know he was still alive and well and I was so relieved!! I'm really glad he went to stay with such a lovely person, because it calmed my nerves knowing he was with someone who'd keep him safe ^_^ It's like... having a twin. Someone who is almost a mirror of me, who I connect with on a level uncomprehensible. I don't even always have to explain things to him, he just knows somehow... I'm just so glad I met him ^_^
Mew... *blush* Hm. Other than that, I won an eBay auction for the last of my little troupe of 2007! I won the Pipos Pierrot Baha and he's nearly home now, so I'm over the moon. He'll make a perfect Francais companion for little Paige, who is also French, and I wanted her to have a Baha companion so he's PERFECT - since Pierrot's are French ^_^ I would have made the Baha into a French character, but having one essentially tailor made is fantastic!!
I think that's about all my news for the last few months now ^_^ Holy moly talk about a loooong post!!
Oh, I won some awards too ^_^
I won Best Captain for our team the Onyx Crusaders, which also won Best Team (wooooot!!!!!!!!! ^____^) in AR and more recently I (somehow...) won Best Short Story Writer and Best Short Story for December in L&W's Awards... I didn't know there were awards going on, but I'm honoured to have been chosen!!
I'm becoming quite an avid forum RPer too, something I never really bothered with in the past but since I'm captain of the RPing team I figured i'd better give it a go. All my characters start out different and eventually change so they're all the same, but it's fun and I'm not sure too many people notice ^_^ My favourite characters to play are Malphas in the Vampire Yaoi RP and Obi in the Onyx Crusaders team RP. They're a lot of fun, and pretty different too! Although I rather like Ellen and Asleth in my own RP (they're my NPC's) since they're brother and sister and playing them's pretty eventful ^_^ Shame the RP isn't more popular!!
Yup, I think that's FINALLY all my news! Although I'll probably make more posts as soon as I think of something :P I'll also post pictures and things of my resin kids when they're all here (and probably before!)
